Okay, if Aeschylus had done the 300 story and Aristophanes had reviewed it for Alcibiades and co, the review would have read like that. Simonides? No so much.
Cumpston is certainly enthusiastic and somewhat amusing, but Joe Bob he ain't. Not by a long shot. That being said, it seems that this sort of review is entirely appropriate for anything Miller does.
"a dick made of three machine guns." i think that may just qualify for quote of the year.
